Join us every Friday at 5 p.m. Let's start today. Let's start into today's episode.

Hello, friends. For the last nearly fifty episodes now, we have been talking about chronic stress. How the chronic stress is so eroding and leads to something known as the boiling frog phenomena, where people might be appearing very successful on the outside, but internally they are fracturing, they are breaking, they are breaking out. So we saw that the stressful factors are always there in the environment. But equally, there are the light factors in the environment. And also there is a light within us. And recently I started work reading a book, The Infinity Within, and I really find it to be an inspiring, very, very inspiring book. So I delved into that book and I reached out to the author, Chris Land. Chris Land is from Texas, United States. He is a serial entrepreneur, a successful businessman who has led around nine, ten companies with successful exits. But what really intrigued me from somebody who is a tech entrepreneur, a business to spirituality, that is not a very common combination, I would say. So I was curious and I reached out to Chris, and we have got him today on the podcast. And please help me welcome Chris Land, the author of The Infinity Within.

Thank you very much. I very much appreciate having this conversation and getting digging right in.

Chris, thank you so much for joining us. And I am would love to start from your journey into business, which you started at a very young age, at the age of 17, working with a farmer, and then you fell into a deep depression, you were soul searching, and then from there it's been a great, great journey for you. So we would love to hear from you about it.

Absolutely. So I was I grew up in North Dakota and actually was ranching, not farming. but what had happened was is I was very much a computer geek, introvert, and did not connect well with my peers. And so pretty much stayed in my own space and did my own thing, and started working with Apple II computers, so that'll age me a bit. And one of the gentlemen that bought an Apple from me wanted to do accounting software for his farm. And I knew how to program and he knew what he needed, and so we started a little company and did the accounting software, and then a couple years later, when I was 17, we ended up selling it for a fairly large amount of money, certainly at my age, and that was fantastic, and then I turned 18, I was living in San Diego, and yeah, a deep depression fell on me, and I didn't really understand why, because I'd achieved everything that I was told I was supposed to do. everything that were, you know, you go start a company, be successful, sell it, make money, blah, blah, blah, right? And what I didn't understand was at the time I had basically gone past all the goals that I thought I was supposed to have. And so I was left with this hole of not knowing what to do next, what to go for, what to do. And so that was what I call the three legs on the stool. So that's the first leg. The second leg on the stool is that in growing up, I had a lot of strange things happen to me. I had out-of-body experiences, I had near-death experiences, I had a, and I also studied a lot about different theologies and did a lot of research and understanding of different theologies and kind of did a deep dive into them. And so that was the second leg on the stool. And then the third leg was I got hired by a bank in San Diego, and I was hired as a VP of research and development, and my boss, his name was Chris as well. We were, I think, having a beer or something, we were discussing things in life and stuff, and he had told me that he was an atheist. And I'd really never given that much thought until he kind of said that, and it didn't resonate with me. And it's not like, I mean, anybody can believe anything they want, that's perfectly fine, but for me, it didn't sit right for him because of who I knew he was. And so I started really looking into what does that mean? And asking what is a soul?

And what is a soul?

Yeah, what is a soul, and kind of trying to figure out how do I know if I have a soul or not? And I came up with a set of questions that shows that all the benefit is in believing we have a soul, and all the downside is in believing we don't, regardless if we do or don't. And so by asking these four questions of Chris, it made him sit back, because he's very analytical, very scientific, and it made him sit back and just kind of take a look at okay, I can be an atheist, however, there might be a lot more benefit in believing I have a soul than in believing I don't, because there is. And so it kind of changed his perspective on life, but it left me with a big question. If we have a soul, what is it? What's it doing here? What's our purpose? And that started me down the path of trying to figure these things out, and you know, the term getting downloads is fairly common in today's world. But I know that for the next six months, I started working myself out of this kind of dis depressed state and really kind of getting downloads and started really looking at if we have a soul which makes sense, what is it here for? What are we doing? What does it look like? What's our purpose? And started really trust going down that path which would which was the genesis of the book The Infinity Within. And that was 40 plus years ago.

And then what happened?

So started asking and building deep questions and getting some pretty interesting answers, and came up with a construct of how the universe might work for us as souls, and hired a ghostwriter to take my idea because I was not an author at the time, to write the book. Unfortunately, she kept wanting to make it her own book, and so I ended up firing her and putting all my notes into a filing cabinet.

And this was like several decades back, isn't it?

This is 40 years ago. So those notes have been sitting in my filing cabinet for 40 plus years, and I still have the filing cabinet. And since then, I created, started, created, built 11 other companies and took one public, and the re the remaining 10 were either acquired or merged. but the way I looked at life and have been looking at life and have kind of built my life around is the premise of what's in the infinity within. In other words, the ideas, the constructs have been very helpful in supporting my journey. And then I met my wife in San Diego, and we ended up with three boys and moved to Texas. And during the beginning part of our journey, she asked a lot of questions about life and how I looked at things. And the ideas came from pretty much the idea of the infinity within, which originally I was going to call the soul path or our soul path. And in the beginning of 25, she said, you know, this these ideas and things that you've shared with me have helped me so much in my life. Wow, you need to write this book, you need to finish it. And by this time, I'd written some other books and had won some awards and so on and so forth. And so in the middle, well, the beginning of 25, I sat down for about four solid months and took all my notes and wrote the book and then published it in the middle of the of 2025. And since then, that book has won 10 national international awards and has been getting a the reviews, are probably the most powerful thing I love to read because it lets me know that what I try to accomplish in writing the book is meeting my goals, which is I'm the goal, the book is not designed to preach or tell anybody anything. It the book is designed where you read about Gabriel, who goes by Gabe, his story through life, and the things that happened around him and with him and to him, and what he got from it. And then he met his mentor Elias and started really learning or remembering what we may actually be and what a soul looks like, and that we might actually be real, really the co-creators of what's going on around us on a daily basis and while we're here. And you follow his story through, and the idea is that you take from it what you what resonates and you leave the rest behind.

So, Chris, you had written this book nearly four decades plus. So the concepts, the paradigms, were you able to take them along with you and apply them as you were going through the life and build these successful companies.

Absolutely. Yeah, the concepts, the paradigms, the constructs, as far as I can tell, they're ageless. As far as I can tell, they don't they at least for me, they haven't changed even one piece. The only difference, there's two things that changed for me when I actually sat down and wrote the book. The first one was the way, so with all the different theologies, the easiest one to reference is the Bible because everybody knows it. And so in the Bible, it talks a lot about how there's God and there's Jesus, and we pray outside of ourselves and all these different things, right? And for me, I took a slightly different twist on how that looks. And that was there are, you know, I'm just gonna quote a couple of different, two different verses, and I'm not gonna quote them exactly because I don't remember exactly, but you know, one of them says, We're the children of God. Another one where Jesus is sitting with his disciples and says, You will do everything I've been doing and much more. And there's so many of these things, these chapters and verses through the Bible, and there's the New Testament, which has fewer. When you go to the Old Testament, there's more of this. And then now, I guess six years ago, seven years ago, they found that transcript that even adds to the Bible another 20 books, like the book of Thomas, where in the book of Thomas it like digs into this in a big way, where maybe what Jesus was trying to do the whole time is say, hey folks, you and I are the same. We are all co-creators in this, and I'm just here to wake you up. Instead of looking outside of yourself, remember what you are. And that resonates for different people in different ways, and that's okay. But for me, what happened is it became very crystal clear that when I when I read now different chapters and verses, the perception I get from them has shifted. And so that was the first thing I got from it. The second thing is I ended up coming up with a trilogy for the book. So I'm now writing book two. I'm in the third draft of The Orchard Hush, which is book two of the Infinity Within trilogy now, because after I wrote The Infinity Within, it became very clear that was the first stone or the first step in what I wanted to share.

Chris, very, very inspiring concepts. A practical question is, in today's world, in the environment, there is so much of stress, so much of challenge, and I'm sure as an entrepreneur, you must have gone through relentless challenges. So, how easy or difficult is to have that and hold that perspective you are talking about?

Oh that requires a little bit of a story behind it, probably. So the idea is if we ask what a soul is, and the idea that we're the children of God, that really means that in one way we're all gods in a perspective, that we're all co-creators in this what I call the game of earth. And if you accept that, that means that our soul is this entity that exists outside of space and time and is really able to create and destroy anything, universes, anything, right? So, what would be interesting to a soul inside a fourth-dimensional construct? And I could only come up with one thing that would be of interest, and that's to experience or experience emotion. Because you can that's the only thing you can really do that's unique in a time-based system or construct. Because without time being the primary motivator, meaning a fourth-dimensional universe, you can't experience emotion to its fullest. And that actually resonated for me because that's that would be something I could see a soul being interested in doing. Well, then what does that really mean? If I'm here to experience emotion, that gets into a whole set of things where so what can a soul do at its peak, like at it when it's a soul? Well, I could only come up with three things. A soul can create things, a soul can destroy things, and a soul can play games. So if we're in this game of earth, what is a game? Well, a game has pieces, avatars, players, whatever you want to call them. A game has turns, and a game has rules. Great. So we understand.

Sorry, say that thing again. Rules, turns, and players. Okay.

Us, players, avatars. So great. A soul comes up, sees this thing called the game of planet Earth outside of space and time, says, I can really experience and enjoy emotions and really learn about emotions in this game. And I'm at the Pearl Gates and I'm looking in and I want to join. But to join, I have to accept these rules. Because if you have a game without rules, you have no game. It would be like you and I sitting down to play Monopoly, and I take all the pieces and I take all the hotels, and you'd say, Well, that wasn't any fun. I don't want to play the game anymore. So we have rules in order to make a game fun by creating a construct. Great. So, what would the rules be for a soul that wants to experience emotion in a fourth-dimensional construct? Well, the first rule we would agree to leave our soul-like abilities behind. Because if we brought them into the game, then we could take all the hotels, we could change everything. So we agree to leave all of our soul abilities outside when we come into the game. Well, that kind of works. Except that if I agree to leave them behind, but that's all I agree to, and I'm here experiencing things, and my favorite dog gets run over, I just draw on my power and change what happened. And even though I'll experience emotion, I'm not going to experience it fully because anything I don't like, I just simply change. So in comes rule number two. Rule number two is I agree to forget that I have them. Now, that works because I have all these abilities, I forget that I have them, but that creates an infinite time loop trap. And I'm gonna bet that a soul is really smart and not gonna do that and leave a part of itself stuck in a game forever. Right? So then in comes number three, I'm going to have turns. And these turns are gonna be lifetimes. And in each turn, I'm going to want to accomplish certain things, and if I do, I get to move on to my next turn. But if I don't, I get to do the turn over and over and over again until such time as I figure out whatever it is that I wanted to learn and then move on to the next turn. And then eventually I have a certain number of turns that I've already agreed to, and then I leave the game. Okay. Now that all sounds very interesting. Now, let me ask you a question. Have you ever played tic tac toe?

No, I haven't.

You haven't played tic tac toe?

No.

You're the only person I've ever talked to that's never played tic tac toe. So tic tac toe is a super simple game. It's it's lines and Oh, yes, yes, yes.

The s the circles and the crosses and there are there are nine squares. I didn't know. I don't I didn't I didn't know in my language it's called different a different name, but I have Do you play it now? Not really. Not in the least why it's just overgrown, not interesting anymore.

It's a simple game, right? Yep. You can always block the other player.

Yeah.

It's a no-sum game, right? Okay, so we don't play tic-tac-toe because it's boring. As a child it was fun, but as we get older, it's not so much fun. So think about a soul entering a game. Do you think a soul is going to pick tic-tac-toe to play? Or is a soul going to pick go or chess to play?

Of course, something larger, something much larger.

Okay. So now we've already talked about the first three rules, right? Now, we're in this thing. We've forgotten, we've agreed to forget we have these omnipotent powers, but we are going to leave ourselves cheat codes because we want to be able to move through the game somewhat. We're not going to get stuck forever. But we're also going to pick a game that's designed to be incredibly hard. Because we don't want to pick a game that's boring. So that now comes to your question. I'm here in this game to experience emotion to its fullest. And when I say emotion, I mean all of them. All the way from the good, the bad, the ugly, and the wonderful, and the beautiful, and the amazing. Okay? So even if I become a very centered person and I choose to believe that this construct exists that I'm in, the game is designed to continually pull us out of the center. It's designed to keep it challenging. It's designed to push us and to muddy the water and to complicate things and to get us on these missions of, say, financial wealth or power or struggle or whatever, which might be part of our current lifetime's journey, but it also can very easily get us out of resonance with our actual path. And then we learn how to meditate and we learn to have conversations like this, and we learn to say, well, maybe we are co-constructors of this game, and we really do have the ability to make very positive changes both in our lives and in this world. And we get centered. And then something happens and it kicks us off that centering, and we start forgetting what we knew and start getting trapped in this pain or in this fear or in this doubt that we're now in. And now we have to make it through that and start getting back to remembering what we are in order to get back on center. But isn't that part of what the game is designed to do?

You mentioned when you enter the game, the game is designed that you forget.

You agreed.

You agreed to forget. You agreed to forget.

If you're a soul and you're this omnipotent being, nothing is going to force you to do anything. These are all agreements you make to play the game. That I make to play the game. Nobody forced us to do this. We chose to agree to these rules in order to play the game and experience emotion.

And agreed with whom?

Ourselves. There's eight rules that I discussed in the book, The Infinity Within. These eight rules are designed to allow us to experience emotion to its fullest. But to do that, it's not tic-tac-toe. Elias, Gabe's mentor, when Gabe is saying, Well, wait a minute, if it's just a game, why do I have to take anything seriously? What's the point? And Elias says, Yes, it's a game, but it's a game with teeth. Because one of the rules that you agreed to is that when you're in here, you're going to be fully invested. You're going to be fully involved in it in order to really experience the emotion.

True. Now remembering that we have these powers, what do you call that awakening?

What do I call it? I think I just call it remembering. In the book, in the book The Infinity Within, I the terms I use, the orchard illusion is what we play day by day. It's where we're where reality is actually the illusion. And what's going on behind the curtain is actually what I call the orchard hush, which is the quiet place where we pause and we remember what we are and are capable of doing. It's where when we're in a place of fear or hurt or sadness, if we can take a moment and pause and not and try to get to a point where we don't let the emotion control us, but we can step out of the emotion at least to some level and look into the emotion and experience the emotion, but not have it own us. That's the ultimate place to be. Because we're here ultimately to experience the emotions. For me. So it's not that I don't want to experience and really be in the emotions, but where we get in trouble is where we let the emotion own us, where we let it take us over to the point where we can't see anything but the emotion, the fear or the hurt, or the sadness we're in. And being able to step out and recenter ourselves to remember who we are, I think is the part of the story or the part of the book that I really try to let people see. Because you're right, there's a lot of fear and uncertainty and scary stuff going on right now on our planet. If we are soul beings and we're here to experience emotion, it becomes a little less scary. If we are able to step out of the emotion and have it control us a little bit less, even a little, it becomes a little less fearful. If we're able to start believing that we actually are co-creators in what's going on, and that we actually can shift. So, you know, with any emotion, emotions really coming through our lens. And so you can take two identical, well, not two identical, two people with an identical thing happening, and that the and yet the emotion coming through and the impact it has on them can be completely different. And it's really through the lenses and our experience and our past through this life, the particular lifetime we're in, and potentially the lifetimes in our past, the previous lifetimes, that our lens is coming through so that when this thing happens, it's coming through these lenses, and then we're we're perceiving it either in a wonderful way, a fearful way, a painful way, a hurtful way, a beautiful way. I mean, there's many different ways, but it's really what comes through our lenses and how we're we're integrating it that controls what we're feeling and seeing from what's happening.

Yeah, that boils down to our belief systems and also our self-belief. So, Chris, I've got one more question for you here. In the game, there are many other people right from the time Gabe was a young boy. He's going to school, then he's going to work, as he is going to meet Elias. And there are different people who have also forgotten, who have also signed the same contract, but also they are continuously creating that doubt, that fear. And how does one manage to keep a clear perspective when one is literally surrounded by that kind of environment? It's something like saying that canary going into a into a cave which is full of smoke. How does one do that? And you have been a successful entrepreneur, how do you do it? One is the self-doubt, and what one is the other people challenging your perspective, and ultimately that also that can also create self-doubt. How do you continuously keep that focus and perspective of the higher reality which you are talking about?

Well, to say I always do that would be incorrect. there are absolutely times in my life through the last 40 years up to now where I've been completely blown off center, and where I have gotten myself stuck in my own fear and my own pain by getting uncentered and forgetting who and what I think we are. In other words, how what my beliefs are. And to answer your question, the concepts and ideas that I've put into the book help me remember that if we are in fact co-creators and we're here to experience emotion, to experience what I'm in, and then start taking myself to the next place I want to be. Like, okay, I'm in this place of pain. Where is this pain coming from? How is it serving me right now? What am I trying? What is it that I'm trying to learn from this? And what's my path look like when I change these things? What choices do I make to move through whatever I'm going through in order to both honor the emotions I'm having, but also not let them control me, and really look into the choices I have and how to move on to the next step or the next emotion, the next thing. Yeah, it'd be silly for me to tell you that I'm centered all the time because I'm not. I'm human and I'm in the game, and I get knocked off center just like everybody. Then the goal is to try to remember what we're here for and why, and what we're doing, and ultimately, you know, the concept of love and unconditional love is a very powerful centering mechanism. Breathing, pausing, taking a pause in the middle of an experience that feels really hurtful, that is really hurtful or painful or fearful, and pausing and just really trying to get yourself centered. Love is a huge power, both for yourself as well as everybody around you. And being able to both project unconditional love for ourselves is step one, and step two, having that face outward is a wonderful way to kind of get re-centered and remember what we're here for. and there are times, I mean, again, it's not tic-tac-toe, it's designed to be hard, otherwise, we wouldn't have picked it. now, when we're when each one of us are in the middle of something that's very hurtful, harmful, painful, fearful, all those things, it's not fun. However, when we make it through it, the things that are beautiful and wonderful shine that much brighter. Because now we have the yin and yang of how it looks and how it feels. If we didn't have some not so nice things happen, we wouldn't probably appreciate the really beautiful things that do happen. And one of the things I talk about in the infinity within is miracles and understanding that we have, every one of us has miracles happening to us daily. I also call them cheat codes. They are things that happen that when we are aware of them, we can shift our reality very quickly. When we ignore them, we can get stuck. So one of the things I talk about is the idea of there are no such things as quinkadinks. That's my funny word for coincidences. From the age of, I don't know, 12 and up. I can be in a restaurant, I can be any place out in public, and I'll be having a coffee or reading my book, or shoot, this happened to me a couple weeks ago. I was with my boys and my wife, and a random couple comes up and starts talking to me. And when this first started happening to me, I was like, does this happen to everybody? Does everybody just kind of randomly come up and talk to random people just all the time? Because it was happening to me, it happens to me all the time. And initially it was like, well, this is just really odd. And then I started really looking at it, and I said, Well, wait a minute, what's really happening here? And what I learned by looking at it and being curious about all these times is that every single case, I needed to hear something they had to say, and they needed to hear something I had to say. And it might have been just for a few minutes, or it might have been we became friends for a week, a month, a year, a lifetime, whatever. But for whatever the time that we connected was, when we originally connected, there was a purpose, there was a reason, there was there was a thing that we needed to share for each other. I would say that's a miracle. Not a big one, but it could be, right? Because you could be in a place where everything feels like it's just too much. And then one random person comes down, sits down, and says, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And you hear it, and all of a sudden, everything's lighter. All of a sudden, everything's easier. And in my business world, this was especially true, is I remember a company I had. We were one of the three companies in the world designing and building electronic mail. We, the three companies, my company being one of the three, created electronic mail with the universities and the school systems, and at that time, Novell, which was a Ray Norda company, blah, blah, blah. And it got into some pretty dire straits because one of my partner companies went bankrupt and there was all kinds of complexity, blah, blah, blah. And it looked pretty harsh. And at one point, I had to tell all my employees, you gotta go. I can't pay you. And so for a month, month and a half, maybe two months, I did everything. I got up in the morning, made my coffee, I answered the phones, I shipped the product that's sold, I packaged the product, I answered customer support calls, I did everything. And then one phone call changed everything. The phone call was this gentleman named John Beldon, and his chairman was Nolan Bushnell, who's the gentleman that founded Atari and Chuck E. Cheese. And John Beldon was, I think he was a CEO of Mattel Corporation. And they called me and said, Hey, we really love your company and your technology. One phone call. Out of the blue. It was dire straits. It's like, oh shit, I you know, just make it work. One phone call, all the employees are back. We took that company, we changed its name. I was the I was on the board of directors, I was their chief technical officer, I was also their lead of technology, and then we took that company public together. One phone call, one minute in time. And when every one of us is in the middle of this dire straits or fear, pain, it just takes one minute to change everything. One second.

Very true, Chris. what you were mentioning about the synchronicities and serendipities, and are nothing are our miracles happening to us every day, and it is so important to acknowledge that. And when your name came to me and when I saw this book, The Infinity Within, saw the background of serial tech entrepreneur, 12 companies founded, and 11 successful exits and all details about you. And I thought, what I could not connect the dots, I could not connect the dots. I downloaded your book on Kindle then, downloaded the book on Kindle, and as I do, I read the introduction. Because in transforming stress, what is what are what is the connection of the infinity within? But then I as I started just now, either you talk about the darkness getting into the game and forgetting the rules, or you bring the light. Because when you bring the light and stay connected to the light, the darkness will all disappear.

Shadows don't exist when light is in power.

Yes. Shadows don't exist when light is in power. Absolutely. So, one more thing to that I would like to say is your car crashes. And have my own story to tell. But first, I would like to hear your story of the car crash, if you would like to share and why that was a miracle and what you what you came out with.

Yeah, so in North Dakota, you can start driving at a young age because we lived out on a ranch. So my parents gave me a Mach II Mustang when I was 15 to drive. And in the first month, I had six accidents. However, when I say accidents, they weren't really accidents. The first accident I had, I kind of slid on some ice and bumped into a motorhome that was parked on the side, and I freaked out. It was my first accident. And I went and rang the doorbell and told them, and they came out and looked, and there wasn't a scratch on either vehicle, and they laughed at me. So, but each one got a little stronger. And the sixth one, an older lady in a Cadillac, ran a stop sign and T-barred the car and kind of moved the passenger door like six inches in. And my dad, for whatever reason, decided to get it fixed. So it's in the repair shop, I don't know, a month, gets done. I was working at a place called Team Electronics at the time. I pick up the car. We lived out of town. It was winter, and I'm driving home. And in this one, it's it's called Old Highway 10, and the it's just two lanes, and then it's got this kind of a slope and there's snow. And this black pickup truck is coming at me like this, all over the road. And turns out he was a drunk driver, and I had moved over as far as I could to the side, and he just missed me. And I was a teenager, so I was driving faster than I should have been anyway. And so I was probably 60-70 miles an hour, and the truck was driving probably pretty fast. But now I have a new problem. The snow is sucking my car down the slope. And I'm headed for the concrete pylon of a bridge. And all I can say is that there was this surge of energy, a flash of light, and the car shifts direction 90 degrees, and it goes this way across the road. I shear six smaller trees off. I'm now on through six trees, two bigger ones are on each side. I'm sheared six off. The engine is partially hanging out, the steering column had punctured the driver's seat, and I was hanging upside down by my legs from the steering column without a scratch on me. The car is three feet off the ground, so I let myself off and get underneath and go up the slope and go across the road, and there's a half inch or one inch of snow where the tire was going this way and then 90 degrees shift. Now, I don't know how much you know about physics, but you have a car, you can have a car doing 60, 70 miles an hour, call it 60, call it 50. They don't shift 90 degrees. Doesn't happen. And yet it did. And it took three wreckers to pull that car out of those trees. And I'm listening to the wreckers, and they're talking about who died in this car. And I'm standing right there without a scratch on me. I mean, nothing. And I've had prior to that out-of-body experiences and other things that really shifted my perspective on life anyway. But what I got from that is it's just not my time. There's certain things I need to do before I leave. And when it is time to leave, it will happen. It'll, and it'll happen when it happens. But until then, until I've done whatever it is I'm here for my that's why I originally was going to be called the soul path. Until I've done whatever I'm supposed to do in this lifetime, these kinds of things aren't going to affect me.

Very true. Chris, I would love to share something with you. And in 2022, I was speaking in a national conference, physician conference in Wales, and I had flown from San Francisco to London, which was an overnight 10 to 11 hours flight. Didn't sleep in the flight at all, the economy class. And then from London, I was driving to North Wales, which is around six, seven hours drive, going passing through London, M25, busy. By the time I reached Wales, I miscalculated, it became dark, kind of pitch dark. And I was now 30 plus hours not slept. So I could literally feel myself dozing off. Put the driver's window seat down so that fresh air is coming in. Trying everything to stay awake. 15 minutes from the destination. Didn't know what happened. Then I just suddenly realized that I was upside down. I was upside down and I was crawling out of the car. It was pitch dark country lane, as you would say in North Dakota. And then I saw the car upside down. Luckily it happened in front of a house. So neighbors came out. They called the police. They called the ambulance. Everybody who saw the car could not believe that somebody can be out of that wreckage. I've myself worked in accident and emergency room for a decade. Now I'm in the hospital and I've seen a lot of car crashes. I've worked in a traumatic brain injury, worst accidents. I could not believe that I can come out of the scratch. The only small scratch I had when I was crawling on the road, which had splinters of glasses, so a bit of a laceration here. And when I saw when I was standing the police and the ambulance, this all started laughing. That doctor, you have cheated, you have cheated, cheated death. You can't believe that anybody can come out of that car alive. Completely, it was smashed in the front upside down. I just saw, and I, you know, I started moving my hands and did all that though, whether I've got any lacerations, moving the neck. The same drill I do when I'm working in the ER to see whether I'm I'm I'm able to walk, I've not broken any bones. Then suddenly I got tears rolling out of my cheeks. I got goosebumps. And the stillness I felt that time. The stillness and the joy and the gratitude, I can't describe the peace I got. And you are right, the kind of kind of experience you were sharing and what I had was difficult to difficult to describe that it can happen and somebody can have such a perspective. Next day I was speaking in a conference, and what was my topic? Thriving through crisis. The president of the conference, a hard doctor cardiologist, said, Dr Ash, you should not present in the conference, you should be in shock. And I said exactly the same thing what you said just now. Look, I am alive. If I would have been dead, I would have been dead anyways. But if I am alive, I have a purpose. And I was speaking about thriving through crisis.

And doing driving through crisis.

And driving through crisis. So miracles happening to us daily, we one has to acknowledge them. And one the more you acknowledge them, the more you are able to live in that zone, and that zone, you would say, but I've just read the introduction and the introduction and the last chapter of the book, and I've gone through the exercises. Is it reasonable to say that if you are able to connect to the infinity within, you are in the miracle zone, or vice versa.

That is Yeah, the idea of the infinity within is the more we stay in the orchard hush, the more we're able to see, listen, and experience the miracles that are happening around us all the time. And so when we do that, we can keep ourselves more, I would say, more on our path, more on our in resonance with what our soul path is and what we're here to do. Because ultimately, I think we're here to bring each other up and to really experience life to its fullest and to really project a sense of love and unconditional love outwardly so that we can all pick each other up and grow.

Absolutely. Absolutely. Now, Chris, I am aware that we are almost coming to the top of the hour. Like I can just go on and on. Your book is so captivating, and the way it's the storytelling, the principles, that as you said, the ageless and the timeless principles. I'm going to complete that book, and I can continue to speak to you for hours. But before we finish, people who are caught up in the shadows, in the darkness, whether they are such whether they are on their path of entrepreneurship or whether they are starting a business or professionals or doctors, what would what advice you would give to them which they can start applying?

Yeah, and not only just business, but personal life too, right? I mean, relationships, personal life, families, business, all of all of the areas that we exist as humans can have these challenges. And certainly from deep experience, from my perspective, when something happens that's very painful andor very fear-creating or very blocking or the best word would be devastating comes up. We're faced with a choice. We can let it destroy us or we can learn from it. And so when something happens that is really hurtful, take some deep breaths, try to pause the noise, try to just come out of the emotion controlling us and to see what's going on and really try to figure out do I want to let this control me and potentially destroy me, or do I want to learn from this and really become a better person and figure out how to not only help myself but help others around me that are facing the same types of things.

Thank you. That is that is very, very insightful. Thank you, Chris. Chris, if the listeners want to learn more about your work, I'm going to put the link of the infinity within and any other ways they can reach out to you.

Yeah, I've been super blessed. the book has achieved 10 different national and international awards. So if you just go on Google and type in my name, which is spelled K-R-I-S-L-A-N-D, andor The Infinity Within, you'll find all kinds of links. I think I take the first three or four pages of Google with my name and with the book. you can certainly go to Chrisland.com and find me there. the Infinity Within is being sold nationally and internationally. You can pick it up at bookstores, Barnes Noble, of all places, even Walmart. you can get it pretty much anywhere. if they don't have it in stock, you can ask them to order it and they can order it for you. so I've been super blessed in the impact the book has had and all the different places that people can find it. we do have press releases that come out every two weeks right now, based on both awards and podcasts and different things that we're doing. so those are coming out all the time now. In fact, I've got press releases scheduled through June of next year already.

Well, that is absolutely heartiest congratulations, first of all, on writing such an insightful and help helpful book and the initial success it has it has had, and I hope that the success continues to be exponential. And with the ideas you have shared are the in a storytelling way which people can relate and bringing the more difficult constructs more easier to understand, Chris. I am really enjoying it. I've as I told you that I've done around six, seventeen, eighteen out of the twenty-one exercises as well.
