Hello, friends. welcome to the Transforming Stress with Dr Ash podcast. And today we have got Joanna Tabaku. Joanna Tabaku is an influential leader. She has worked with executives, senior leaders, founders, CEOs over the last two decades. She's helped senior executives work with their own inner alignment. She's has a special interest in working with schools and parents and help reform the teaching system there. I'm really excited to welcome today Joanna Tabaku. And really what inspired about her was her deep commitment to personal growth and development. And Joanna, welcome to the podcast. And please let the listeners know about your about your journey and what brought you here.

Okay, hello, hello. Well, it's great to be here. you know it's it's always fun joining someone for a conversation because when one person is doing something, creates creating something, it's always in your mind, and then you kind of put it out there. But when two people create, a third energy develops because those two energies combine. So it's really great to be here, and thank you for the introduction. my god, if I was to sum up in a few words, it's been a journey. I would say what I'm guided to share now is that the journey has felt like building a house that looked really beautiful on the outside, and yet the foundations were totally rotten. Only to realize that at some point when it felt like a finished castle and a finished palace, that it all needed to go back to brick and back to foundations and to really strengthen them. And it all started when I asked the universe for more, when I asked the universe truly from the soul for the most beautiful freedom and flexibility and the life where I can serve others. And if you were to look at it on the outside, you would think, wash her wish, you know, her wish was starting to fail rather than come true, but actually it all had to crumble for it to be rebuilt in the most perfect way. So, you know, describing the last 20 years has been a journey physically and mentally and emotionally. I was born in Poland and lived there for 20 years, and then I spent the next 20 years in English-speaking countries in the UK and the US, you know, creating a family, building a career, building wealth, only for it all to really be really put under a microscope and really questioned. And when I started to question it and to ask for the right things, the right things started to unfold through the process of growth. So it's just been it's been the most magnificent journey, and I could see the magnificence of it by really truly following the gratitude in every moment of life and choosing to make a meaning out of things that empowers and by that guides on the right path. And when I started doing that, the most aligned miracles started to happen. I truly believe that us meeting and having this conversation is one of those miracles too. so yeah, here I am. making sure that through the work that I do, through my own alignment and my own authenticity, I get to impact others to help increase their consciousness. And really what my passion is in is working with those who educate kids, whether they're parents or educators, any leaders really, because you know, when we think about it, we all were kids at once, like we were all kids, no one was born an adult. And through the life that we had experienced as kids, we then became the adults we became. And so for me, the biggest impact is on working with kids. And to do that, people who work with the kids have to be aligned in order to guide them and lead them and aware of the responsibility we have. It's a huge responsibility. So great, great to be here. I'm gonna pause for breath.

Thank you, thank you, Duan. That's a that's a very beautiful summary of your journey. And what you just said that you build something over 20 years, and then you realized suddenly that no, this is there's something kind something which is off, something which is missing, and you put things under a microscope. Because on the output somebody might look very successful, but inside they are not feeling fulfillment. And that is that is to me a failure because there is no fulfillment. So you could be hugely successful in all in all the worldly sense, but still there is an emptiness, and we see it across different careers, you know, doctors and founders and celebrities where they have amassed everything in a worldly sense, but yet there is a feeling of emptiness. So I know you have done a huge amount of work on alignment and making sure that people are not chasing the wrong things in their life to realize that they have done everything and still they are not feeling fulfilled in themselves, still they're not feeling joyful, energetic, empowered. I'm not using the word happiness because in life you have to always embrace both the polarities. Happiness will come with sadness, excitement will come with moments of boredom. But what I'm saying that there has to be a deep sense of fulfillment. If some days are not good, people are not feeling positive, that's fine. Because you know this is the journey of alignment, the journey of fulfillment, it's a journey. So, want to love to know from you more about this. That you have worked with leaders, you have worked in healthcare for more than a decade, you have worked with senior executives, CEOs. So stress is a very common denominator you are seeing that people are stressed. They are sitting in their whether they are working on the ground level or they are work sitting in their offices, but they are feeling stressed. And when I say stress, it's not the normal stress, it's the chronic stress, it's the toxic levels of stress. What are the common patterns you see in such highly successful people? And how do you interrupt those patterns to help them have these massive big breakthroughs?

I love that. That's that's so much awareness. I you know, what when you were talking just here, I wanted to m respond to so many beautiful points that you shared. stress is funny because it's covered under so many other words, but truly it's it's low vibration. And when we're stressed, it means we're not congruent with who we are, right? we're not doing, thinking, feeling, saying in alignment. we feel that something is, I don't know, above us, beyond our reach, or too far, too quick, not enough, it's it's all of this. And you know, that living as if I just reach this, then I will be happy, successful, excited, slash what whatever, insert yours, right? you touched a very, very good point. And so before I kind of come back to the observations I've had, I want to say that people chase, and you said it very nicely, people chase this thing, and they think that it will bring them what they want. Now, really, what it is, is we want the freedom, we want the car, we want the house, we want the relationship, we want the money because of an emotion and a feeling that we think will be inside of us once we do it. And we forget that we can experience those same emotions in everyday life. And the way it works is that when you experience those, so I'm not talking about pretending here, I'm not talking about, oh, my life is actually not great, but I'm gonna pretend everything's fine. No, because that creates a discord, that's that's not the right vibration. That's like I'm thinking this, but I'm feeling this. You know, system fail causes more stress. But instead, when you say, Okay, I wanna be in that place, and maybe that's because my ego wants it, maybe it's because I saw someone else, and maybe I'm not feeling good enough. Maybe I think that when I do that, you know, you start talking about this and really like accepting and saying it how it is, staring it in the face and saying, This is how I feel, being honest with yourself. That starts to put your vibration higher, and then you say, Oh, but I have so much abundance already in this area. Oh my god, today the sun has been shining. Wow, vitamin D, right? then someone came over and asked how I how I'm doing. Wow, this is care, this is love, I'm seeing this. So you're not starting to pretend you have everything, you're just noticing those things that lead to it, and that starts to create a stronger vibration that starts to attract on the outside, also, but it also always starts within, right? It's like you know, we started as a tiny little seed. And so from this tiny thing, that's how everything starts. And when we think about the you know, the executives, you and I both share this environment of healthcare. and you know, I did a lot of project work around change management and helping you know trusts to be more efficient within the UK and Ireland and in Europe, and it started with very stressed executives wanting something to happen very quickly. So it's this desire for speed, that's one of the things that I'm seeing. This desire for it has to happen now. Second, not really having the capacity to deal with anything, you always being busy, and it's like I'm busy. I back-to-back meetings was the you know the word I could tattoo on my forehead because I heard it so many times. And then there's this feeling of I must almost like put a different face when I'm coming into work. I'm I have to be someone else. Now I'm not being empathetic, I just have to follow these things. Even when they did for a short second, they would snap back out into I must do this. And there was this fear also, if I don't perform, either someone will take my place or I will be working in an environment that I'm being bullied or not liked, or I have to be someone, and maybe someone who's not very pleasant to work with, because then at least I'm protecting myself, I'm building walls. There was a lot of that. And I would say that, you know, I also met many beautiful people who were there, and they were like, I'm just going through life, I'm helping people, I'm supporting people. They had a much different life and a much different day each day in those trusts, whether it was, you know, a hospital or a community setting or any, you know, any other setting, or whether it was the board meeting, if they had that approach, they had a very, very different way of being. And you know, we talk about stress-free life. That's not what like you and I agree, stress is needed, but the word stress, the way we're used to it, it I feel like it conditioned many generations to such a degree, people forget how it is to not feel stress but feel gentle pressure of a pull towards something. Like, oh, I want to do great for my patients, I wanna do great for the children I work with, I wanna do great. Okay, how can I do it to make it better? Oh, I made a mistake. Wow, great, I noticed something, that means I grow. If you don't make mistakes, if you don't have challenges, that means you're not growing, right? And if you're not growing, you're dying. I mean, that's how it is. So seeing those you know symptoms, because you see them on the outside, like you do when you're dealing with patients, right? You see a symptom, but it's symptoms of something deeper rooted often. and that often is this feeling of I'm not enough, I don't love myself enough to be authentic and to lead and to still do my job great, but being who I am and saying, hang on, why do I have to pretend I'm busy? Why do I have to be there at seven and leave at seven just so people can see me do that? Quietly begging to for it to be gone, or for you know, retirement age, or for something, or for a miracle to happen, or for a lottery win. Where is the joy in this? We have one life. Well, two. The second one starts when we realize we have one.

So and so and also the second one starts when you change your life. Yeah, because when you realize that okay, I've done everything, I've been hugely successful, worldly successful, but something is off, and you come back to alignment, alignment with your true self, and what is really, really, really, really important to us at this point of time, and that is when you could say that your second life, your second birth starts. So we spoke about alignment, that how alignment is so important to that internal barometer of success that we are feeling fulfilled in our life. So what processes you take your clients through, organizations through, that they get that alignment?

It's it's a great question. I love that. well, first of all, there is there is this thing where we learn something and we feel that this is the best thing ever, right? We are excited about it. And when we continue learning and on the path of personal development, you know that yourself, or CPD, you know, within your industry, that's also the case. You constantly learn something new, right? So my father's a surgeon, right? When he trained, medicine was very different, and then he had to take on new you know courses and develop and learn about new whether it was new discoveries of science or anything else, new practices, in order to be better and to actually be able to help people in the in the most aligned way. And so to me, you know, talking to you today, well, I will share what I do today, and that changed from what I did last year, and it will change what I'll do next year. And I feel like this is very important to always share with people that it's always we're constantly growing, continuous and never-ending improvement, right? We're always doing something great, we always can do something better. And so, to me, you know, the golden tool, I guess, is making sure that we're looking at least two sides, because everything has polarities. So when we look at ourselves and who we want to be, I always ask the people what do they really truly desire? And we work with that because what we want to do is shed all those layers, you know, like we talked about of I desire this. Okay, but what does this really mean? Who will you become thanks to this? What is it? Because achieving a goal, when we achieve it, it's like when we climb Mount Everest, we're at the top, but the journey it took us, and then the journey back or the journey to the next destination, that takes much longer than being at the at the at the place, at that aim, at that goal. So we spend a bit of time understanding that, but throughout the process, because you don't know what you don't know, right? So sometimes you know you work with someone and they say, right, what's your goal? Let's work to it. The truth is that through working with something and especially someone who can help you align, you soften all those layers that were so hard that made you say, This is what I want. But then you realize actually, it's not about this, it's about maybe that aspect of it or that feeling of it. So you start to shape and really truly see the reason you want what you want, right? So it's it's not just about what we want, it's why we want it, and not from here. It's from here. and then we look at those two polarities, and I call it you know, the soul blueprint, which is I use I love using the human design tool and understanding what type, what human design blueprint we have, as well as a lot of you know, a lot of teachings that are that might seem more woo-woo, I want to call them, and those things that people say there is no science to prove it. Well, yet, when we are aligned, we can show that the right things come to us. And then the other side of this is the conditioning, and that means you know, you can look at all those personality tests or the Myers-Briggs or the disc profiles, all of these profiles that people can take that tell them, you know, this is your leadership style, this is this, because that's the condition self, right? Some of it is us, it's like this inner us, but a lot of it is I've been taught to do it this way. I've been taught to take the rein always because I have to protect myself because otherwise I don't feel good enough. That doesn't come out in the questionnaire. So I compare those two, but not in a scientific way. We work with those. We then say, okay, what feels great? You know, what feels like it's aligned, what feels like you can finally take the pressure off you and say, that's me. What brings you to your authentic self? And when we feel safe enough with that, that's when the real transformation starts. So it's never about, you know, we're working together for 10 sessions and you will be you are this and you're gonna be that. It's who you become in that process and how you grow. And so the you know, to discover that took me my own you know, my own failings, I want to say, and my own misconceptions of how it works. I remember thinking, okay, I'll take this coach and they will do this, they will make me this, or they will help me you know, become this person. Yet until we get to a junction, a crossroads, we don't know how many paths there are gonna be. Even if we have a map, we can see something on the map. We don't, we can't tell, we can't experience what it's like when we're there. Even when you have a Google Maps these days and you can see the pin and photos taken from the Google car, you don't know how you're gonna feel, what energy you're gonna be in until you get there, right? Even if you see the picture. I mean, I remember some of the most beautiful sights in the world, seeing them in photos and then experiencing them myself, very different, very different. So that's why when you work with someone, you can't say I'm going to reach this in three steps. Maybe you'll get there more or less, but you will uncover so much more that is begging to be uncovered. You know, whenever I work with someone, I say, it doesn't matter how we said we were gonna, what we were gonna do, if they bring me something on that day that needs to be taken care of, that means it's calling, it's asking to be to be really deeply explored in some way. And we always do it from a place of love. You know, we never go, oh, you should have done this and you didn't do this. We go, okay, let's figure this out. What's really important? How do we go? Because for many centuries we've been conditioned not to be joyful. Hard work was associated with you know, rolling your sleeves, being physically tired, and don't go to sleep until you're tired and you're dirty and whatever, and you're sacrificing and you're doing all that. Instead, what do Brings you joy, how does that affect other people around you? How do you positively contribute to everyone? And with that, how can you be in that high vibrational state that attracts for everyone around you the most authentic you, and that way you can serve them with your gifts? And secondly, all the things that you want to you in life, because you know, life is about joy, and to me, three key things are those creating that joy. Happiness, and we just said, you know, happiness is such a term, but happiness is that inside happiness, whatever happens, you know, like we talked about Viktor Frankel, who was one of those people who experienced the most profound low vibration from other people possible, and yet he said, No, I'm choosing this. He chose inside, and that manifested on the outside. So happiness is so important, starting from inside, health, and that's not just physical, it's mental, emotional relationships that are healthy. That's that's to me, that's health. Because if we don't have health, that's the only thing we want, right? If you see people who are not healthy, when you deal with patients, all they want is I just want to be better, and then every and then it doesn't matter, but when you're healthy, you want a million things, and then wealth, and wealth to me is this term that many people hear wealth and they imagine a dollar sign. Wealth is not just physical wealth, it's important, of course, because when we have more, we can share more, we can do more with that, we can put ourselves again in a higher vibrational state to be able to enjoy that and you know, and then create from more. Because when you're like, I'm so excited, everything's great, that's when you create the most profound things. But you don't create from, oh, I must do this because I haven't created anything in two weeks. No, like that doesn't happen. So, so wealth is about the people around you, the you know, it's like the network you have around you. Network sounds very business-like, but it's the cohort of people, the group of people, the family, the chosen family. it's about how can you understand your gifts and help others, how can you contribute more? And of course, physical wealth is important too, because we want we want to build it, but it never starts with that, it starts with happiness and you know, striving for joy. And when I understood that, I said, Oh my god, you know, so much conditioning because I still feel so much deep conditioning within me that I'm working through, but instead of blaming myself and saying, Oh, I'm still I say, Oh, I discovered a new thing today. That's great. I can now that it's in my consciousness, I can work on it. Or, you know, I say thank you for all the things that it unconsciously solved without me even knowing. And when you start talking to yourself or to other people like that, don't think they're gonna think I'm crazy. Okay, let them. Let them think you're crazy, then don't hang out with them, but they will join you soon anyway because they will see actually that person makes sense, they wanna they wanna live happier. How would that look if within our health sector, for example, people had this approach? Right? How amazing would that be? What do you think would happen if people had this kind of approach who are at those you know, all levels, because executives are executives, but the people who are delivering on the ground, the people who are operating, seeing people and outpatients in the community, all the managers who are managing everything that comes their way, you know, the request from the execs as well as well as the patients and the patient journey. If everyone just said, okay, hi, how are you? How is your day? Right, let's look at what we can do. What's good and new in your life? What do you think would happen?

It will be a much, much happier environment. And Joanna, I used an analogy of the boiling frog. And the boiling frog, as you know, is a very commonly used analogy in organizational psychology, self-development, stress management, which is have you heard of the analogy of the boiling frog?

Yes, yes. I love it, but you know what? I love when you talk about it, I love when you tell it.

So, what it is, you just spoke about the environment. The environment might be boiling, and the frogs might be boiling, but what I've created is something known as the jacuzzi effect. The jacuzzi effect is that when you get into a jacuzzi, especially if you get in a jacuzzi with a friend or somebody with connection, you're having some conversations, inspiring conversations. There is warmth, there is comfort, there is relaxation, there is joy, there is gratitude. So, how do we can transform the environment around us into a nice and comfortable jacuzzi? Now, what I wanted to ask you that individuals might be very skilled, might be very talented, they might be even aligned to their inner feelings. But if the environment is not right, either the environment might be the culture or the people. So have you seen patterns like this that when individuals are caught in these kind of situations, and how what are the steps you would suggest them to take if they find themselves in that kind of a trap?

Yeah. many, many stories from my from my past within the health sector in on the islands, let's call it, just flashed back as you were talking about this. because I experienced many times that you know the way that the service is structured is you have many healthcare professionals, and then you have many people who are within the management, the administrative side, and you have the support team. Often what happens is if you want to advance as a healthcare professional, you want to, you know, have a higher status, be better paid, and so on. The only way up is to be to become a manager, right? To start leading, to have that function within your job title and within your hours, let's call it, the your time that you serve, that means manager of something, whether it's the clinical lead, whether it's the clinical director, whether it's the band 8AB nurse, for example. And what happens is you lose a super duper skilled healthcare professional and you gain a I can't may I say a word that's probably not great, but it's not a square word, I promise. You gain a crappy manager, but you know why you gain that manager? Not because of the person, it's because of the support they don't get. They don't get the support to transition because they might have the skills, they've learned so much already, they've they've you know shared so much. But when we work with people, patients, and at and staff members, we have to have certain skills, and some people don't get it, and that's why I'm I always wonder why they don't teach that at school early enough. We're always gonna interact with other people, always. So, so you know, we gain that, but we don't have the support and the training. Yes, there are some leadership academies, there is some of that, but it doesn't really teach the it teaches the knowledge, it doesn't teach the practical applications of okay, let's do this. And so then you want to be great, you want to feel great, and to answer your question, you want to be the most amazing self. We don't wake up in the morning, no one ever wakes up in the morning and says, I want to have a bad day. No one ever does, right? So we want to have a great day. What we need to do is to say, okay, what do I choose to think about this? Okay, I choose to say I've received a great opportunity, I've received recognition, I have a way, there are ways to do this. I need support. Wow, I get to go and talk to someone and ask for support. And when you when you start to become the best version of yourself with the tools and skills and resources you have, because we always think, oh, what if I had this, but that person has this. Okay, but have you looked at the person who doesn't? There's also a person who doesn't have any of this. And you know, we compare ourselves. So stop comparing and say, what do I how do I make the most of the situation? Because the minute you become the best version of yourself through being authentic and saying, I want to do the best job I can, I need my help. I need help and support right now. If you don't get that help and support from your environment, guess what? You will become the best person you possibly can, and you will be noticed in an environment that wants to help you and cultivate you. So we worry sometimes and we dumb ourselves down and we lower our own value and we say, Oh, they don't want to help us, but I'm just gonna keep quiet and I'm gonna do my work and I'm gonna not enjoy it, but I'm just gonna wait till Friday, and then I'm gonna, you know, if you're lucky enough, Monday to Friday, but if you're working emergency hours and things, you just wait for your day off, right? and then and then you become really sour. But if you say, I'm gonna become the best version of myself, guess what? You stop fear because you go, okay, if it's not here, it's somewhere else. You know, we're coming out of this mindset of I have to have one job for lifetime. I mean, the last two, three decades, people have been moving jobs frequently to make sure that they that they can help more and develop themselves and be better. Yet often in the public services, people stay in a job because they worry, right? And it's like, no, become the best version of yourself. You don't know what life has in store for you. You know, I know people who become the best versions of themselves, and then they suddenly someone asks them to help them with something else, and yet they end up developing their own business and leaving the environment they were in. But they always leave it better. So even if you don't get that help from that manager, that manager starts something subconsciously starts to trigger in their head because they already start questioning themselves and go, why am I not helping that person? Do I not have the skill? Am I fearful? Am I and so the minute you say no more, I choose my value, but not from the place of ego, but from the place of I want to help people. And if I don't help people, if I don't develop myself, if I don't have the right support, the right skills, I'm not going to be the best version of myself. I absolutely need to do this. I cannot get stuck here. I only have one life. It I don't choose to have this, I choose different. The minute you make a decision, the minute you make a decision, everything starts to shift because that decision raises your vibration. Again, it's you know, I talk about vibration, and many people say, Oh, it's you know, it's it's woo. Yet it has been scientifically proven. We've had all the tests on subatomic particles that move and how they interact and react and what they do when they're observed and not observed, and yet people still go, come on, give me the proof. I'm a living proof. I remember when I decided to leave the job that I was in, that was highly stressful. It was technically, you know, your standard contract hours, it never was. And for a time I was stuck and I worked and I said, Okay, I have a better life than most. I was stuck in this wheel. Like if I jump off, it's a harder way to fall because I've got I've gone too far up, so I better continue. And then I said, if I continue like this and I get twice as far, then it's gonna hurt even more. I said, no, no, no, something has to change. And when I made that decision, I kid you not, I gave my notice. I, you know, I said, that's it, not another day, not another minute. worked the notice, and the last day that I had, I got a call from a recruiter who said, I found your profile somewhere. I didn't even share, I just said, I need my time, I need to do nothing, I'm going to just be with my kids for three months, and then I'll figure out what's next. That's what I need. And someone called me and said, we want you basically, and long story short, we want you for a position that pays more and requires less of you in the same environment, doing what you love doing, and you can spend more time at home. And why did that happen? Because I said no more of this. I didn't fear, oh, but I don't have a replacement, oh, but I don't have this. I just said no, right? And whenever in life I chose that, life always, always gave so much. But whenever I choose fear, oh, I get the I get the side of fear too, right? So I can talk about both things. You know, people talk about the beautiful benefits. I say no, I can exactly see what happens when I'm fearful, and that's why I choose not to be fearful, because I prefer the miracles and the payoffs that are received, and that's because it's better for me and those around me. So other people grow thanks to that. So if I'm not doing that, I'm selfish. If so, if I'm thinking and you know, being very highly energized and vibrational, that helps those around me, even though the little voice in my head, you know, we all have imposter syndrome says, Oh, come on, you need to work hard and you need to do. I don't know why it's got Kermit the Frog voice, but it does. Come on, you need to do this, you need to work hard, you have to be sad, you have to sacrifice. No, you have to enjoy your life the most, and that's how you give the other people around you this. Because you know, when you enjoy your life, people don't go, oh, what a crappy guy, he's enjoying his life. They go, Oh, I want to have some of what he's having. When my kids see me approach problems with, okay, let's take a step back, take a breath, and let's see what's happening. They start to do the same. When people around me start to see that I'm not biting when someone's going, oh, but your life isn't all perfect. You have this problem and this problem. I say, great, that means that I have still something to live for, to solve. And then they start to see in their life also that they have the same. They can live for something, they can do something else. So we owe it to the world to be highly vibrational, not to pretend but to find a way, to find a meaning, to change the meaning, like Victor Frankel, like so many people, you know. One of those things. I remember you talked about jacuzzi. I remember a time a few years ago in British Columbia, Canada, in one of Tony Robin's Platinum Partnership events, sitting with my fellow platinum partners in a hot tub outside, looking out at the mountains. It was so beautiful. And the most beautiful thing, it wasn't that we were in this beautiful, amazing hotel and we had everything we wanted, and we had this amazing event. The richness, the depth of conversations, the challenges that we shared, because it's not like I'm going to stroke you. No, I say something and someone says to me, Joanna, I think the way you're looking at it, you might improve this. And I go, Wow, this is amazing. I haven't looked at it like that. That's the depth, that's the richness. So, you know, before I met you, I was boiling a frog in a jacuzzi in the way that is the most congruent with what you're saying. This is perfect. You know, we lower the temperature a little bit, a little minor small, small changes.

Yes, small, small changes.

Exactly. The environment, the environment adapts. We always attract. When we ask, it's given. When we ask, it is given. It always is. And the beauty is it will if we ask for something, it will keep coming until we see it and accept it. Right? It will hit you in the face. So don't worry, you will never miss a sign. Right? I don't know who's listening to this, who needs to hear this, but it will hit you in the face, don't worry.

Joanna, what you said very beautifully about why increasing your vibrations, about alignment. You see, I have been reflecting about this quotation from Rumi, which is that when you really connect yourself with your deepest things, you do not need to be chasing anything. What matches you will come to you. And I think that's a very beautiful state of very, very beautiful state of being. Now, interestingly, I've been reflecting about this quote, and though I feel I'm very aligned, and my vision and mission is transforming stress. We know that stress is 70 to 80 percent people for all over the world and all continents, according to a Gallup studies. But can I do it better? Can I do it even better in spite of the daily challenges we are I'm having? Can I do it better? And see how I connected with you. And we are having this convo conversation with about alignment. So this is a living proof and evidence. What else scientific evidence one requires to see that you are continuously creating your own reality with your own thoughts, with your own actions, and with your own vibrational state? But there are a few things I would like to share with you. Like in the boiling frog, the first step, as you can see here, is this frog is in a mindful state and is making diagnosis. Being aware, are you aware of your inner state? Today I'm feeling a little low. How I can increase my vibration, how I can change my focus to what is working in my life, what are the positive things I have achieved so far in my life? What are the top three, four things I'm really grateful for? So, gratitude and focus immediately can help shift our vibrations, and then what I call the jacuzzi effect, as you can see, having coaching conversation, inspiring conversations, you feel these frogs are comfortable, they are relaxed, they feel empowered by making these small, small shifts. And once you get this alignment, and your work, I was watching to one of your very inspiring podcasts, is about alignment is equal to results, and something like blueprint plus vibration. Is it blueprint plus vibration is equal to alignment? Is that is that right? Would you like to speak to a little bit more about that?

Yes, yes, of course. I love that. you know, when so you just said when we vibrate something, when we're sending an energy, it comes back to us. And that's why, and you said scientific evidence, it's so funny because we don't we know we don't need those, but our logical mind is created to run away from the saber-toothed tiger or beat it with a you know with something in the head in order to have the meat. so it's fight or flight, it's you know, it's fear or everything's fine kind of thing. And it's that's the part of it that needs if we wanna stop that part from overacting from being the top part, we need to we've been taught to go for logic, right? So we go, okay, if I explain this to myself, then I know. And often we try to jump ahead. If so, you know how if you want to have a muscly body like Arnold Schwarzenegger had, for example, in the day, or many people these days very take a pride, they go to the gym, they train the muscles, right? Our aura is a muscle too, our vibration is a muscle, we have to train it. And what happens is people try to overcome it and this process and say, Okay, now I have to feel great. And then I'm not feeling great. Why am I not feeling great? But they skip a step. It's like if they were going to the gym looking in the mirror and saying, Why don't I have the muscle? They don't do the work, they don't, they just stare and they go, Why don't I have the muscle? Why am I not feeling fit? Why is my blood pressure? Well, but I'm not doing any work. That's the equivalent of it. Now, instead, if we say, Okay, so my logical mind needs to be fed, it needs to be given something so that it can go to sleep, because that's the bridge between the primal brain and our soul, which is always and has always been there. And so sometimes when I'm feeling low, all I need to do is focus on something else, but how do I focus on something else if I'm saying I need to focus on something else? I'm not I'm not gonna do it. So the easiest way is to, and I do this with myself, I have stuck everywhere at home visual clues and cues on so my eyes can go very quickly to something that helps me, right? And that's usually, you know, I would say laughter yoga, for example. All you have to do is ha, he ho for a few times. I mean, I'm making myself laugh just doing this. even go deep on into research mode on something. I love to use the scale of vibration, there's so many beautiful things. I have a tip as well to share because maybe the audience you know what wants to do this, but I'll share that in a minute. So when we talk about alignment, it's putting ourselves in the highest vibration and making sure that we understand our logical mind also understands who we are. because, and that's why human design is so great for me for that, because it shows us our blueprint, who we were born, how we are meant to achieve what we want. Because every desire we have is meant to be achieved. It would it wouldn't come to us unless it wasn't meant for us. The true desire. Everything is always meant. So the blueprint is not about you do you be you and be happy without this. No, no, it's not about that. It's about how do you go about achieving what you want in your way, in your authentic way. And how do you make sure that you remember to stay at high vibration? And those two, and I always add the third one, which is like the sealant to it all, is the environment you're in. And I don't just mean physical, I mean the people you're with, the energy you're in, all of that. Because the right people will make you feel great. You will feel more energized with them, not more tired, you will feel more thoughtful, more mindful, more, oh, I'm open to so many things. Then oh, I feel so bad about myself. If you feel that, they're not right for you. And so, how do we stay in high vibration? Sometimes we have to explain to the logical mind. And the best way, there are so many great podcasts and videos and books and music out there to do this for us. We don't have to do anything, we just have to press play. And so, even if we just had, like as you know, sometimes we used to have people on speed dial, now we just could have speed 15-minute clips on YouTube or a playlist for high vibration and really watch the words that you're hearing in the music or what they're saying in the in the movies or the series that you're watching. If it's all bad and blood and you know, poverty, well, you're gonna have that in your in your vibration. So to me, it's about preparing and saying, okay, I can anticipate that my vibration might drop, someone might say something, something might happen that I haven't experienced yet because there's always new stuff happening, because life is always helping me grow. So this might all happen. So I'm going to give myself the best support I can have. So I have the music, the little notes, the right people that I can talk to as well. What I often do is I record, I voice record WhatsApp messages to people that I know and love and trust. And I don't always send them because sometimes by the time I'm done recording, my problem is solved just because I talked it out loud. but I've trained myself, right? People often need that second person really live in front of them to do this or some process. you know, great books. Your book is one of those books, right? It's it's very, very kind of structured and written out in such a such a way that it's easy to follow. And this is why, you know, it's the same in school. People say some kids are not fit for school. No, actually, school is not fit for the kids, but anyway, it's about making sure that something that we're that is meant to help us is easy to digest. So it's the least resistant place that we can take it from, right? The least resistant. That's why you have to have all these different types. And if something happens that, despite all those things that you're using, still makes you feel down, you go, okay, that means there's a new way that needs to be added to those other ways. That means it's not working right now, it needs to be added. me and my kids constantly relook and review our own home culture, vision, values, etc. And we're just in a process now of reviewing them. We said actually, we did something about a year ago that we feel we've outgrown. So now we're working on something else. It's admitting to yourself that growth and change and reviewing is actually great. You will never perfectly have something nailed down, you know. I and it's getting to know yourself. I know that I work in seasons, I know that I cannot have the same routine, I know that 5 a.m. club is not right for me, but I tried it and I experienced it. I know that X is not right for me, but Y is right for me. I know that next year I will have a different season and something else will be right for me. But I'm experiencing that, I'm enjoying this, and that works for me. So that's why often, you know, people who say I have one process and it's my way and you have to do it my way. No, the process can be great, how to support a person, but it's not follow my steps exactly because everyone's different. It's we take what works for us and what is too resistant, we say, okay, why is this resistant? What can I do with this? So, you know, even when I'm doing this with my children, we say, okay, what works, what doesn't, what can we do that is great for us, that challenges us, and what is great to say thank you to and leave behind, right? and just this one thing that I want to say, you know, on this topic as well, around how do I do this quickly? What really well works for me is firstly being accepting. So I might yes, I might say I'm feeling bad today, right? Okay, I'm not feeling great. I'm not pretending because if I'm pretending, my vibration goes down. I'm in guilt, shame, worry, low, blah. No. I say I'm not feeling great. Guess what? Your vibration already goes up because you're aligned with what you're feeling. You're saying, feeling, doing in alignment. And then you go, oh, I'm being authentic with myself. That's really great. Boom, boom, boom, your vibration starts to go up. And you start finding ways in which you can start feeling even better. And you can never do this from the head when you're feeling low. You can only go, okay, what would make me feel great right now, rather than what would solve my problem? Because the problem is never solved from the same level of consciousness and vibration. And the other thing that helps, which is which is something I've borrowed lovingly from Abraham Hicks, is this quadrant. I love this because for people with logical mind, it's a really good process. So you have a specific situation that is not great, right? It's let's call it on this side of the screen in one corner. And it's, you know, I don't know, someone bumped into me on the road. I'm gonna be late, it's gonna be insurance, it's gonna be time, blah, whatever. I'm not feeling great. Okay, how can you now make it less in your face, which is moving it down here? So we make this specific negative situation into a general negative situation, and we say, okay, I don't like when things happen that impact my ability to manage my time and my resources better. I don't like when unexpected things that cause future extra activities happen. That's much more removed. It's not as specific. We're not suddenly feeling a loosening in our stomach, right? And then you say, Okay, how do I feel about this? Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. Then you move on to this side and you say, What do I love? I love when things go smooth, I love when I get to places on time, I love when traffic's great, I love when you know I have nice music in the car, I love when I have nice conversations, and I love seeing open roads and you know, carefree people. Do you feel good? Great. Can you now go to the next step to very specific but positive? So we go from negative, specific, negative generic, positive generic, positive specific. And then I say, Oh, I would love for this situation to solve in the most amazing way. I would love for everything to be fixed quickly, I would love some positive some great situation to come out, maybe a great lesson, maybe a great learning from this. And then suddenly the same situation makes you feel good, right? But you aren't.

You change the perception, the lens of viewing that situation, and all the emotional response changes.

Yes, because you focus on something else, because you didn't focus on I have a problem. Oh, I'm focusing now. I want I have this quadrant, I'm gonna do this. So you're focusing on this. So even if you remember four steps, one, two, three, four, right? That's that's that's that. And I always say, I have this printout from Tony Robbins about beautiful state, because he talks about you're either in a suffering state or a beautiful state, right? There's no in-between. And you even when you're sad about something, you can still be in a beautiful state. You can mourn someone's loss and say, that person made me feel so great. That person was such a light in my life. That's a beautiful state. That's not, oh, I'm so sad. Right? That's very different. And even if we can't control, because we don't always have the perfect response. We don't always go, that person was so great. No, sometimes those deep emotions have to get out. But I go, oh my god, I'm being authentic. I'm just crying like crazy. That's okay. That's okay. Right? And so always striving for understanding, recognizing when you're not in a beautiful state. That's number one, that's amazing. Step 70% of population, maybe dare I say 90% of population doesn't get to that state, doesn't get to recognizing. So recognizing goes, yay, that puts me that puts me up higher. You know, I already feel better because I already feel like I'm not the worst. Right? It makes a change.

So self-awareness piece that you have first of all, you have become aware, and as you said, that you have acknowledged it and acknowledged it, and that makes you feel authentic, and then you change your the kind of focus as well. So it's it's just awareness, acceptance, acknowledgement, and small minor things which can help us shift.

Yes, yes, exactly. You know, it's those small things that make a big difference. Yes, when they stack, they are very powerful. you know, really are so small and yet they're so powerful when they're together.

Sorry, I missed that. Say that again.

I say all the atoms are so small, yet they're so powerful when they're together. You know, when they make a brick, for example, so hard to burst through. Yet when we, you know, it's it's wonderful how our perception changes things. And I don't know if you've seen this, there was a drawing somewhere with the number, you could say a six or a nine, whichever way you look at it. And one guy stands in front of it and says it's a six, and the other guy stands on the other side of it and says it's a nine. They're both right. But it depends how you look at it, right? You're you're right. Whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. It's simple. It's like, and again, it's the least res least resistant and the highest vibrating part of it. So if I say to myself, I'm perfect and my life is has everything I need in it, and if I feel, I'm not, my body is not responding to it, I feel like I'm not saying the truth, then I go, okay, what can I say that feels good and empowering, but makes my body feel good? Because that's the point of least resistance. And then you stretch it and stretch it and stretch it until everything starts to feel good and starts to feel the right way and starts to feel like you know it's on the up. So it's not faking till you make it, it's saying, What am I not seeing yet? What am I missing? You know, I started practicing that, and this is why the evidence that we talked about that everything scientific evidence is in you. You are the scientific evidence of your life, because when you are aligned, feeling, thinking, doing, vibrating in alignment, in unison, that's when everything that you want is there, right? So that's the scientific evidence. If people ask me for scientific evidence, I go, huh. Check yourself out. When you're how do you feel? You know, are you aligned? well, how is your life the way you want it? Mmm, I say, okay. That's it. Right? You're the evidence, you're not in alignment, your life is not. When you are, it starts to flow. And never ever question yourself, but I'm not where I want to be. Great. That means you've got a way to go. That means you're not ready to die yet. That means you've got you've got a way to go. Oh, you're muted.

So very beautiful insights, Joanna, very really beautiful insights about increasing your state, improving your state, improving your state of alignment. And if I were to summarize in a single line, it's not about chasing more, exhausting yourself more. it's about getting more aligned, it's about being more grounded, it's more about connecting with your deepest values and your deepest meaningful things which are meaningful to you. So it's not doing more, but aligning more. Joana, we are coming to the end of the podcast, and I know we have covered on different topics. We have covered about self-awareness, being aware of our state, being aware of what is truly important to us. We spoke about how to manage the environments. We also discussed about what are the you give toolkits and practical suggestions of how to how to improve the vibrations. What are the most what is the most important points you would like to leave the listeners with if they find themselves in a difficult, in a challenging state, in a low state, w where do they start and what's been your kind of crux of your of your learnings?

Yes, beautiful. what comes to me is that light is born in the darkness. So when you experience the opposite, be grateful because the other thing is coming. When you're experiencing something low and negative, just trust that the other thing is coming. And when you start to feel that and focus on that, everything changes. So always, always, always be the master of focus and meaning. Always find the meaning that empowers you and makes you feel good, and never think about what other people think, what other people say, what you know you have in front of you. It's it's that. I just want to say, you know, from my own life, until I aligned, I learned and mastered productivity and efficiency, I learned and mastered passive income streams, I learned and mastered so many different ways of and you know, parts of whether it's business or life, but I didn't truly master that it's not about me doing more, like you just said, it's about stopping. So when you're feeling low, stop, take a breath, and then say, even if I can't find anything positive, but if I could, what would I focus on? What would I focus on if I could?

Well, Joanna, it's been really joyful speaking with you. Really, I'm I feel very I'm myself feeling very empowered, and I was trying to like the universe send such a messenger like you to share these insights and not only how to how to apply these principles, really, really beautiful. And if the listeners want to connect with you and your work and get some help, what are what are the best ways to reach you if you would like to share?

Sure. yeah, thank you. I mean, I've I've loved talking to you because you know, the what is meant to come out always does, right? I always struggled with getting prepared for presentations or meetings or whatever. I would prepare and then I would come out with something completely different because the truth is always you know, the aligned truth is always coming through you. So obviously the energy here was has been beautiful, and the energy of the listeners that are coming to listen to this is beautiful and aligned because of this. and so yeah, so if for anyone who wants to reach me, I'm on social media and it's really easy to find me with my name and surname, LinkedIn, and my website, which is JoannaTabaku.com, which is I'll put the I'll put the I'll put the link to that again.
